Co-sponsored by: Heart Rhythm Society This inaugural conference will bring to the forefront the emerging technologies and treatment strategies for Electrophysiology (EP) and heart failure patient populations. Break-out tracks will include topics in Device Management; EP Lab; and Clinical Care. Topics Covered *Showcase of innovation in EP *Innovative techniques for management of atrial fibrillation (AF) *New approaches for management of EP patients *New technology for single chamber pacing *Exploring optimization of alert programming for CIEDs *Advanced programming considerations for new cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) *Innovation in the EP Lab *Pharmacological, procedural and non-invasive considerations for the arrhythmia patient *Managing emergencies and preventing complications in the EP Lab Location Central Piedmont Community College - Harris Campus 3210 CPCC Harris Campus Drive Charlotte, NC 28208 Credit 6.0 Contact Hours/ 0.6 CEUs 6.0 CNE Contact Hours will be given to nurses who attend at least 90% of this activity. No partial credit will be awarded. Charlotte Area Health Education Center is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation. This activity is approved for 6.0 AAPA Category 1 credits. Physician assistants should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
