I know many of you expressed an interest at the council meeting, but the only way to get on the writing committee is by sending in your nomination.

    Hi Erica,

My principal area of expertise is cardiac implantable electronic device management rather than invasive electrophysiology, so I wanted to check whether my background would be a good fit for this writing group before submitting a nomination.

I am a co-author of the Australian CIED Competency Document for Allied Health Professionals:
    https://cardiq.org/resource/cardiac-implantable-electronic-device-competency-document-allied-health/

I am also the immediate past Chair of Professionals in Cardiac Sciences Australia (PiCSA):
    https://picsa.org.au/

My clinical practice is primarily in cardiac device management, including implantation support, follow-up, programming, troubleshooting and remote monitoring, rather than EP studies and ablation.

Would expertise specifically in cardiac rhythm device management be within the intended scope of the writing committee?

    Kind regards,
    Miriam
