    Hi everyone,

    My name is Tova Jessica Mandorf and I'm a staff nurse in the EP lab at Stanford Health Care, California. I'm currently in a Master's degree program in nursing and researching the topic of quality of recovery after CIED implants. With a trend in these procedures being done with local anesthesia and moderate sedation without an anesthesia provider, my focus has been drawn to the question of how patients do in recovery and how they rate their quality of recovery after the implant, and if multimodal pain management with a single dose intravenous acetaminophen peri-procedural effects the outcome. Some literature suggest there is a knowledge gap in this area, however the literature is sparse on the topic. I'm reaching out to see if anyone know of any clinical studies addressing this? And as providers in Device clinics doing follow-up, are there any metrics followed evaluating post operative pain and recovery? What are your thoughts around this?
