    Hello everyone!

I write to you from San Diego which is a bit cloudy today, and looking forward to the start of HRX! So exciting!

I am interested in knowing if anyone might have an interesting case report or AHP topic they may want to submit to Heart Rhythm - Case Reports journal. Below is the link to a recent HRS-TV interview I had with Julie Shea describing ideas for topics for the Focus on Allied Health Professional section we are interested in publishing.

Please consider sending me your ideas directly ferrickaileen@gmail.com or aferrick@wphospital.org. I am available to help you write up your topic or case if you haven't written before. Great way to get started. 700 words + a figure or table is what it takes...

Looking forward to hearing from you,
    Aileen Ferrick

Greetings from San Diego! So great to see so many AP friends here. I second the motion that you should all be thinking of sending in a case report to HR Case Reports. When you see an unusual case, something that you had to look up info to understand, or had to work out with your colleagues, think case report. We could all benefit from what you spent the time to figure out.

I ran into Jeanne Poole, the Editor in Chief of HRO2. She is looking for allied papers to published. She specifically mentioned wanting to publish papers generated from QI projects. If you spent the time accomplishing a QI project, write it up and get it published in a peer reviewed journal. Case reports and QI projects are both great ways to get started since you've already done much of the work, you just need to write it and submit it.

If you have questions about writing or publishing, feel free to reach out to me, Aileen Ferrick or Carrie Harvey. We'd be happy to help get you started.
