My name is Sierra Pond, and I am a second-year student at the University of Utah Genetic Counseling Master's Program.
I am reaching out to recruit cardiovascular providers for a brief survey on their perceptions of genetic testing in cardiovascular patient care.
As a collaborative effort with the SADS Foundation, my student research project aims to assess how cardiac providers in various subspecialties regard genetic testing as a diagnostic tool within the framework of their practice. By conducting this research, my committee and I hope to bring awareness to the utility of genetic testing in cardiovascular patient care.
