Good Morning I do have a question for the forum, based on an encounter with a patient with a CPVT ( Catecholaminergic Polymorphic Ventricular Tachycardia )

In CPVT I know there is problems with calcium regulation due to the gene mutations of RYR2 and CASQ2. Do you know what exactly about the lack of calcium regulation targets the ventricles in such a drastic fashion? Is it because when you decay the calcium channels inside the heart cells that they start to randomly pass the ions/extra K/NAcl around and this creates other problems more noticeable in the ventricles?

    Thanks

    Gus
